After losing the role of a lifetime, an aspiring actor retreats to his hometown. Faced with either continuing to pursue stardom or accepting a job in his family's trade, he embarks on a soul-searching journey. When he encounters a woman battling Lyme disease, who happens to be renting his childhood bedroom, an unexpected friendship develops, forcing them both to make life-altering decisions.
About The Director
Edward Crawford is a NYC based filmmaker, writer, actor, comedian, and host. What he is most proud of however, is being a survivor of neurological Lyme Disease. Conceived in the Bronx and raised in Newburgh, NY, 60 miles North of NYC. After making three short films (what he considers his film school) he found the courage to make his first feature film. 60 MILES NORTH is a film woven from the fabric of his own life and explores themes close to his heart (Lyme disease & being the original host of the gameshow 'Cash Cab'). It is a goodbye letter to both.
